1. Agreement to terms
By accessing and using the JotAboutMe website (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Your account
You sign in to the Service with Google, Apple, Facebook, or a link sent to your email, and are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You are responsible for who you invite into your household and who you invite as a caretaker, and for the information you add about your animals.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
3. JotMe+ subscriptions
New households receive a 30-day free trial of JotMe+ features. JotMe+ is a paid subscription, billed monthly or annually in advance through Stripe, and one subscription covers every member of a household.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the JotMe+ page; JotMe+ then remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refundable.
We may change subscription prices. A new price applies from your next billing period, and we will tell you before it takes effect.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to store content you have no right to store.
• Attempt to access another household's data or to interfere with the Service.
• Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software that makes up the Service.
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notices from the Service.
5. Not veterinary advice
The Service helps you record and coordinate care. It does not provide veterinary advice, and reminders and records in the Service are not a substitute for the judgement of a veterinarian or of the people caring for an animal.
6. Disclaimer
The Service is provided on an 'as is' basis. JotAboutMe makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.
7. Limitations
In no event shall JotAboutMe or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the Service.
8. Accuracy of materials
The materials appearing on the Service could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. JotAboutMe does not warrant that any of the materials on the Service are accurate, complete, or current.
9. Links and advertising
The Service may show advertisements and links to other websites. JotAboutMe has not reviewed all of the sites linked from the Service and is not responsible for their contents. The inclusion of any link or advertisement does not imply endorsement. Use of any linked website is at your own risk.
10. Modifications
JotAboutMe may revise these terms of service at any time. By continuing to use the Service you agree to be bound by the then current version of these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.
